Ho Chi Minh Trip (Free and Easy 5D4N) Part 1 - Ho Chi Minh City and Mekong Delta

Ho Chi Minh City also known as Saigon. It is the largest city in Vietnam.
On the way from Airport to Hotel inside a cab, the traffic is made up of a staggering number of motorbikes. Very heavy traffic.












After checked-in, we go to look for tour packages around the city area. So, the tour arrangement will be:
Tomorrow morning, Mekong Delta day tour, followed by Mui Ne  (越南平顺省) 2 day one night and Cu Chi Tunnel half day, then go to airport.

While waiting for bus to pick up, pork was sell beside the road side. Traditional way of measuring the weight.


  

An unforgettable way of seeing the Mekong Delta to drive along the provincial roads down on the Southern region of Vietnam through paddy rice field, pine-apple plantation, orchard and small hamlets take about 2 hours drive to reach My Tho.

So, we are ride on a local motor boat along Dragon Island, Unicorn Island, Phoenix Island, Turtle Island and stop at the famous Unicorn Island.

While at the Unicorn Island, we go to visit natural pure honey at the bee keeping farm. Taste some honey tea, rice wine, local fruits...

Walking on the village and taking rowing boat along the natural water coconut canal to see the local lifestyle in the Mekong Delta. 



From there, we will continue our motor boat trip to Ben Tre province to visit a handmade coconut candy workshop.

Stir the coconut on the quarry.

The coconut cover is used for burning. 

 Cut the cooked coconut into pieces

Make the coconut in longer shape and cut it to smaller pieces and wrap it. And become coconut sweets.

 After that, we take a horse ride.



Then, transfer to a small boat and travel along the lush, green canals that are so beautiful for photography. 










Stop at local restaurant for lunch. 





Then the local motorboat will take you back to My Tho, where the bus will drive you back to Sai Gon  with stop at Mekong Rest Stop. Tour the end around 07:00pm.
