Ho Chi Minh Trip (Free and Easy 5D4N) Part 4 - Cu Chi Tunnel

Cu Chi Tunnel

Early morning, we check out the hotel and take a van to Cu Chi Tunnel.

Cu Chi network covers a wide area of countryside near to Ho Chi Minh city and was an excellent way for the Viet Kong to move undetected by American forces underground. 
The Cu Chi tour starts with an introductory video detailing its long 25-year construction.

Then it is time to go underground in the 120-mile Cu Chi tunnel system which give a safe place for soldiers and thousands of Vietnamese people during the Vietnam War. The tunnel is make to suit Vietnamese body size which is small compare to US army which has big body size.





On display are booby traps, the remains of a US army tank and huge craters left by American B52 bombs. 











Vietnamese use the unexploded bomb to make weapons for them to fight against US army.

After the half day Cu Chi Tunnel tour, we go to airport directly and ready to leave Ho Chi Minh City.
